Mark Hodge

Mark is the founder and the face behind MaisonNets, a short-term rental business that operates in four states. Following a 30-year career in the performing arts as a professional dancer/choreographer, having worked as a professional dancer with the Australian Ballet Company, Opera Australia Ballet, and Sydney Dance Company to name a few he also worked as an international model working in Milan, Vienna, Tokyo, Korea, Canada, New Zealand as well as Australia where he has been exposed to an array of cultures and international communities. Throughout Mark’s career he had 17 years as a performer in stage shows such as Chicago, West Side Story, Singin’ In The Rain, Hello Dolly, Cats, Equus and in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert both performing and as dance director.

Mark is now utilising his creative talents in helping people unlock the potential in their properties capitalising on the inherent wealth in their investments through his business. Traveling abroad and working in these highly pressurised fields among luminaries such as Baz Luhrmann, Nicole Kidman, and Ewan McGregor has given Mark an innate understanding of the requirements, and comforts, needed by professionals for their work, and for their downtime.

Mark brings this highly attuned perception to his new career - looking after property owners and guests’ needs. His real estate experience is complemented by ongoing studies in investment seminars focusing on manufacturing growth in existing property whilst extracting better cash flow for investors. Mark now consults in these areas and speaks at various property seminars and webinars on short-term letting. Working with real estate company Bresic Whitney and as a mortgage broker with Homesmart in Melbourne has further honed Mark’s real estate skills and refined his knowledge of the investment property market.

Mark pride’s himself as a people person who is genuinely interested in community and able to relate to all walks of life.
