‘I will not be lectured by the PM on..’ anything really

This week! Georgie Dent joins the podcast to discuss why we won’t be lectured by the Morrison Government on women’s safety, or anything really. His government is running a women’s safety summit in the same week that he has rejected 49 of 55 recommendations by Kate Jenkins for creating safe workplaces and working towards a future free from sexual harassment.

Plus, we look at some much-needed wins for women this week, and there have been some good ones.

And, we’re thrilled to bring you a discussion with Dai Le, a Fairfield City Councillor, as well as Yvonne Weldon, the first Indigenous woman to ever run for Sydney Lord Mayor, on a mission to bring back integrity to government.

They discuss how COVID-19 is impacting their work and their communities, and how their navigating politics.
